GAS PRESSURE REGULATOR

Gas pressure regulator, commonly known as pressure reducing valve, also known as gas pressure regulating valve, is a device that automatically changes the gas flow through the regulating valve to keep the outlet gas at the specified pressure. It is usually divided into direct action type and indirect action type.

  • The pressure regulator is a special valve on the gas pipeline, which can keep the downstream pressure stable no matter how the gas flow and upstream pressure change.The pressure regulator shall be able to:
  • 1. Reduce the upstream pressure to a stable downstream pressure;
  • 2. When the pressure regulator fails, it shall be able to limit the downstream pressure within the safe range.
